This is a KrF excimer laser literally blasting a target in vacuum to deposit a thin film on a substrate (PLD, Trinity College, 2004).

This is simply a fly...
But coated in gold and observed by Scanning Electron Microscopy.

Many scientists are buried there including Max Planck (see grave detail in the banner of this page), Max von Laue, Otto Hahn, Walther Nernst, Karl Schwarzschild...
Carl Friedrich Gauss, Alfred Clebsch and Johann Peter Gustav Lejeune Dirichlet are also buried in other cementeries in Göttingen.
